Introduction and Design of LED Cabinet Light

Pubdate: September 23rd 2025    Preview: 0

LED cabinet lights are decorative lighting products. Their housings are typically made of aluminum alloy using precision CNC lathes and undergo an oxidation treatment.
LED cabinet lights are widely used in both home and commercial lighting, replacing traditional lamps to a certain extent. Figure 11-1 shows the appearance of a surface-mounted LED cabinet light. LED cabinet lights can incorporate motion sensors and infrared switch technologies to turn on and off lights when someone approaches and leaves, as well as to turn lights on and off with a swipe of the hand.

The operating voltage of LED cabinet lights is 12V. They can be powered by a constant voltage power supply. When working, you only need to connect multiple surface-mounted LED cabinet lights in parallel. They can also be powered by a constant current power supply. When working, you only need to connect multiple surface-mounted LED cabinet lights in series, which can be achieved by jumper wires.
LED cabinet light junction boxes come in two types: series and parallel. These allow users to operate multiple fixtures (or light strips) with a single power source. Parallel junction boxes are designed for constant voltage power, while series junction boxes are designed for constant low voltage power. These junction boxes feature direct, quick connection and a special anti-reverse insertion design, offering advantages such as easy, safe, fast installation, environmental conservation, and compact size.
When LED cabinet lights are powered by a constant voltage power supply, the lamp beads generally use SMD5730 or SMD5630; when powered by a constant current power supply, the lamp beads use SMD5730 or SMD5630.
